It has been a fulfilled, wonderful and fruitful day for me at The Jumbo Sales @ The Anderson Primary School. The overwhelmed stopped-by at my booth and sales kept pondered in really made me felt joyfulness and sort of unbelievable! I knew that this time I have meet the right group of consumers for my handmade stuff. Unlike the little sales and least passer-by at The Weekends Market last few weeks, my booth at the school had created quite a good response.
Here, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the students, teachers, parents of the existing students and parents of the next year Primary 1 student for visited my booth and some even buy something from me. Oh yes, also have to specially thank to the Principal of Anderson Primary School for visiting my booth and as well getting some handmade stuffs from me. The most enjoyable moment is that I have also received several praises for my handmade products. Never have I felt so great in selling before.
Have a look of my booth before and after set up. I have been offered a bigger table and, therefore, I can displayed my products more spaciousily and easily viewed or reached by consumers.
Mentioning a bit of the products that are displayed within easy reached by consumers somehow created a small problem for me. As you know, I am using soft clay to handmade these clips, fridge magnets or figurines. And, hence, my booth was most warm welcomed by little kids and guess what! Out of 10 children, 9 would naturally like to feel the clay products by squeezing on them. Probably the 10th child not doing that is because he/her hands is occupied with something or is holding by their parents. I sincerely did not blame anyone for doing it! I'm just worry that the soft clay would tend to break easily. Nevertheless, I think I need to change my future clay creations by using harder clay materials like polymer clay etc. That would probably avoid the problem. Anyway, thanks kids! I most welcome you to check out my booth to get anything you like.

I have also recommended parents to buy the soft clay material to have a good bonding time and sharing the fun of clay making with their kids during the school holiday. This will help the child to develop their motor skills, learn to appreciate handicraft and the value of patience. So, to all parents who have purchased the clay from me, feel free to contact me if you have any problem on using this clay. I'm most honor to assist you.
Another special person I need to thank is Cristin - one of the great parents volunteer for the School. It is my pleasure to have known you and let me have an opportunity to set up a booth at the school. Your lovely kids certainty had brought ecstasy to my booth and had also fetched an idea across my mind that I should have include a clay-making session for the kids on that particular day.
Check out my next few postings about some handmade items that had been sold. Once again, thanks to all who have patronised my booth either at The Weekends Market or at the school.
