On the 2nd day, I can say I don't feel as exciting as the 1st day although I'm still felt there are some lucky stars around me to make it for the day. As for the marketing strategy, I decided to focus more on my overseas buy products. Have a look at the picture of my Day 2 set up! Can U see any different as compare to Day 1 booth?
Again, not the least I have expected, sales is still not good. Infact, is even slower than Day 1. Btw, it is a Saturday but it did not have much crowd.
I thought tourists (especially the western) should like these oriental look stuffs but I'm wrong. There is not even a single people looking at it. Eventually, I knew why these stuff cannot attract anbody (Local and Tourist). Irocially, thanks to nowsadays budget airlines to various countries like Thailand, China and Vietnam etc. Majority could easily book a flight and fly to these destination to get much more than I can offer. Hence, why should they stopped at my booth to look at these stuff? Foolish thought! right?
These are the products somehow can attract at least some stop-by longer at my booth to look at my stuffs. I confirmed that fashion jewellery, necklance, watch is the niche products that can go at this weekends market. Hence, because I have only 1 or 2 pieces of these products, it still cannot prompt them to buy it. (Sigh.......).
By the end of the day, disappointment already filled me. I keep wondering why my craftwork has not receive any response (no sales and not even enquiry). I knew I got the wrong products at the wrong place but I wish at least a response or comment. And hence, I still maintained a "non-zero" sale by selling 2 soft toy keychains and 1vietnamese figurine fridge magnet. Here, I would also like to take this opportunity to thanks the 2 consumers that have patronising my booth.
I felt tired and sleepy. One more day to go. What else can I put up to test the market? That night, I slept with a blank mind. I have run out of ideas and items already.
